1. Yogurt Containing Probiotics
Any yogurt regardless of its flavor that contains Probiotic is really good for UTI. Probiotic is a good bacteria that fight infection. They form a protective barrier from your vagina to the bladder area, which helps reduce the symptoms of UTI.
2. Cranberries and Blueberries
Cranberries and Blueberries contain a compound made of a plant called Proanthocyanidins, which prevent an infection called E.coli from attaching the cells in the urinary tract. Aside from this function, it also contains a very powerful antioxidant which is high in Vitamin C.
Although water is not a food, it is considered the MOST important out of all. It helps both prevent and reduce the current symptom of UTI by flushing the bacteria away through urine.
